Can you have thyroid cancer with normal tsh?

My doctor said my TSH levels are perfectly normal, but I still feel like there's something off with my thyroid, maybe a lump. My father had thyroid issues, so I'm a bit concerned. Can you have thyroid cancer when your TSH is normal?

Yes, TSH only measures how well your thyroid produces hormones, not physical growths or cancer. When I was diagnosed, my TSH was a perfect 1.8. You must get an ultrasound of the neck, as that is the standard way to look for any nodules.

My child, do not depend only on blood reports if your body is showing some swelling or change. Go to a specialist in a big hospital. Along with that, eat fresh home-cooked meals and practice gentle pranayama, but do not ignore the main medical treatment.

Don't search for solutions or look up home remedies online for this. Yes, TSH can be normal, but only an oncologist or endocrinologist can tell you what is actually going on. Book an appointment and get a professional ultrasound done.

According to oncologists, thyroid cancer cells rarely produce thyroid hormones, meaning your TSH will typically remain normal. My endocrinologist emphasized that a physical biopsy or FNAC after an ultrasound is the only definitive way to confirm or rule it out.

Yes, absolutely. I track my health metrics daily, and from what I've read on trusted health forums, normal TSH is very common in thyroid cancer cases. If you noticed a lump, book a physical consult with an endocrinologist instead of just relying on blood tests.
