Can you have strep with no fever?

My kid has a sore throat and looks unwell, but he doesn't have a fever. Is it possible for it to be strep throat with no fever symptoms?

Haan na, absolutely ho sakta hai. Pain toh bohot hota hai throat mein, par fever nahi aata sabko. You should try warm saline gargles, it helps to soothe the pain, but doctor ko dikhana safe rahega.

Yes, many adults with strep throat do not present with a fever. While home remedies can offer temporary comfort, diagnosing strep requires a professional medical assessment. It is best to consult your general physician for an accurate diagnosis.

Yeah, absolutely. I had this during my exams last semester—my throat was killing me but no fever at all, so I kept studying. Eventually, I had to go to the doctor because I couldn't even swallow my food. Get it checked before it ruins your week.

Yes, it can happen. When my throat was infected but I had no fever, I felt physically okay but skipped my heavy gym workouts. I just stuck to a light evening walk after asking my doctor, just to keep moving without exhausting my body.

Yes, you can have strep without a fever. My grandmother always suggests warm water gargles with salt and turmeric, which definitely helps soothe the throat. However, we always consult our family doctor to see if any proper treatment is needed.

Hey, it is totally fine, don't worry. You can definitely have strep without a fever. Just take a warm cup of soup, rest your voice, and let's plan a quick visit to the doctor tomorrow to make sure you get the right care.

I made the mistake of ignoring a highly painful throat infection once because I didn't have a fever, thinking it would resolve on its own. It got so bad that I couldn't swallow water and had to be rushed to the clinic. Please get a checkup done immediately.

I literally just recovered from this last week! I had zero fever but my throat had those white spots and it hurt like crazy. Don't wait around thinking it will just go away on its own, a quick visit to the clinic made a huge difference for me.

Please don't ignore it because there is no fever. I once had a mild throat irritation with no fever, which I ignored, and it developed into a severe inner ear infection that took months to heal. Go to a qualified doctor and get it checked early.
