Can you have stomach virus without vomiting or diarrhea?

I'm feeling very sick to my stomach, tired, and have body aches, but I haven't had any vomiting or diarrhoea. Could this still be a stomach virus, or is it something else?

Yes, a stomach virus can show up just as extreme fatigue, nausea, and sharp muscle cramps in your abdomen. When this happened to me, I had to stop my workouts for a week because my energy levels were completely flat, even though I didn't have any loose motions. Focus on clean, light meals and let your gut heal.

Oh, it is the worst kind of torture! You have no diarrhea or vomiting, but your stomach feels so heavy and bloated that even looking at your favorite biryani makes you feel nauseous. You just have to survive on boring dahi-chawal and warm water until the bug decides to leave your system.

Yes, you can. My fitness band showed a sudden spike in my resting heart rate and my sleep quality dropped drastically when I had this kind of bug, even though I had no typical symptoms like diarrhea. It was just constant stomach discomfort and a feeling of being wiped out. Keep tracking your hydration levels.

Yes, you surely can! It usually just presents as a very dull ache, nausea, and feeling super tired. Keep drinking lots of fluids and try to get some solid sleep tonight. Your body is just quietly fighting it off, so give it some time!

Yes, it is possible. When my stomach feels heavy and nauseous without vomiting, I have to be very careful with my diabetic diet because my eating schedule gets disturbed, which can cause sugar drops. Stick to plain barley water or light vegetable broth without any added sugar to keep your energy stable.
