Can you have peanut butter with fatty liver?

Recently diagnosed with fatty liver and my doctor advised me to be careful with my diet. I love peanut butter and usually have it for breakfast. Is peanut butter okay to eat, or should I avoid it if I have fatty liver?

My father always says home food is best, but when he had fatty liver, his doctor told him that store-bought peanut butter has too much added hydrogenated oil. We actually asked the doctor if raw unsalted homemade peanut paste is fine in small amounts and he said ok, but don't eat it daily. Please verify with your doctor first.

When my teenager was diagnosed with mild fatty liver, I was so worried about what to give him for evening snacks. The doctor told us that peanut butter has too much fat and calories for an inactive liver, so we completely stopped it for a few months. Try roasted chana or foxnuts instead, they are much lighter and safer.

I am managing high BP and liver issues, and I had to cut down on all heavy, salty, and processed foods. Peanut butter has too much sodium and fat, which can affect your blood pressure and liver health. It is much better to focus on daily brisk walks, a low-salt diet, and getting your liver enzymes checked regularly.

Instead of buying costly organic sugar-free peanut butter, it is better to save that money for your regular LFT blood tests and doctor visits. Groundnuts are cheap and healthy, but since you have fatty liver, even simple roasted peanuts in small quantities are a much safer and budget-friendly option than processed bottled spreads.

Just take a deep breath and don't stress about this too much, the body has a beautiful way of healing when we eat mindfully. Peanut butter can be heavy, so maybe focus on lighter whole foods and fresh seasonal fruits for a while to let your system rest. Take care and stay positive, with the right routine you will feel much better soon.

Honestly, if you're busy like me, checking every ingredient label is tough. Most commercial brands of peanut butter are packed with hidden sugars and palm oil, which are bad for fatty liver. If you really want it, stick to brands that have literally only peanuts and nothing else, but keep the portion to just one small teaspoon.

Please don't go by what people say on online forums about peanut butter being a healthy fat. Fatty liver stages vary from person to person, and only a qualified gastroenterologist or your doctor can tell you what your body can digest. Get a proper diet chart made from them instead of experimenting.

My doctor told me to strictly avoid peanut butter because of the high fat content. Better to skip it until your liver scans look normal.
