Can you have norovirus without vomiting or diarrhea?

My whole family has come down with a bad stomach flu, but I'm just feeling a bit tired and have a mild headache. I haven't had any vomiting or diarrhea myself. Can someone actually have norovirus without showing these classic symptoms?

I am not very sure about this, but can you really have stomach flu without those symptoms? What other signs should we look out for then?

I was researching this and read that some people can be asymptomatic carriers or just have mild stomach pain and headache. It's crazy how differently the same virus can behave.

Yeah, I had this last winter. No vomiting or loose motions, just crazy body aches, headache, and bad stomach cramps for two days. It was super weird.

Yes, subclinical infections do happen where you only experience mild abdominal discomfort or low-grade fever. However, since these symptoms are vague, a doctor's evaluation is best to rule out other issues.

It is rare but some people only get body aches, mild fever, and nausea. I ignored my atypical symptoms once and had severe gastric complications later, so please consult a doctor if you feel unwell.

Yes, some people only experience mild nausea or stomach cramps. My grandmother used to say warm cumin water helps, but we should always trust a doctor's advice for proper care.
