Can you have norovirus without vomiting just diarrhea?

Continuous diarrhea for the last 12 hours is what I've been having, but surprisingly, no vomiting at all. Usually, stomach bugs mean both. Is it possible to be infected with norovirus and only experience diarrhea as the main symptom?

Yes, you can have just diarrhea. When we went to the clinic last week, the doctor clearly explained that the presentation varies from person to person. It is best to ask your physician about the right dosage of probiotics.

I literally got over this three days ago. Had zero vomiting but non-stop watery diarrhea and bad stomach cramps for about 36 hours. Just keep sipping ORS, you will be fine.

Yes, my elder daughter had only diarrhea when the virus went around her school, while my younger one was vomiting. Just make sure to give them light khichdi and lots of fluids to keep their strength up.

Oh God, I would be so stressed if I had this! But yes, from what I know, you can definitely have just diarrhea. Just please monitor yourself closely and don't hesitate to visit a clinic if you feel very weak.

According to most medical articles I read online, adults are actually more likely to experience just diarrhea with norovirus, whereas kids get the vomiting. It is pretty common, so don't worry.
