Can you have norovirus without fever?

My kids came home with some kind of stomach infection, and now I'm also feeling very sick with stomach issues and feeling tired. However, I don't have a fever. Can you still have norovirus even if you don't develop a fever?

Yes, you can have it without a fever. While my elders suggested taking buttermilk with curry leaves, it is always best to consult your doctor for a proper diagnosis and care.

Absolutely. Fever isn't a mandatory symptom for norovirus. Just focus on your hydration and stay isolated so you don't pass it on to others.

Yes, when my husband got infected, the doctors at Fortis told us that many adults don't run a fever with norovirus. You should clearly ask your physician about proper hydration plans.

Yes, absolutely! You can totally skip the fever part and just have the stomach issues. Drink lots of coconut water and you will be fine soon! 🌸

Yes, it can happen without fever. Since I am diabetic, I have to be careful not to take sugary ORS or juices during stomach bugs, so I stick to sugar-free electrolyte solutions.

Yeah, I got hit by this bug last week and had zero fever, just non-stop trips to the washroom. It is super exhausting but it passes in like two days anyway.

haan, fever hona zaroori nahi hai isme. Just focus on recovery and keep your diet very simple with dahi-chawal, ok na?

Yes, you can. It's so sad because you don't even have a fever to justify staying in bed, but you still can't eat your favorite spicy street foods!

Yes, beta, sometimes the stomach heat is there without any body fever. Sip on light rice kanji with a pinch of salt to soothe your digestive system during this time.

My five-year-old had terrible vomiting from norovirus but never developed a fever. Just keep giving them small spoonfuls of ORS every ten minutes to prevent dehydration.

Yes, no fever is normal. Don't waste money on expensive blood or stool tests right away; just invest in cheap ORS packets and give it 48 hours to settle.

Yes, no fever is possible. Taking weak black tea with a little lemon can help control the loose motions, but if you feel weak or dizzy, see a doctor immediately.

I once assumed it wasn't a serious bug because I didn't have a fever, and ended up needing IV fluids. Do yourself a favor and get a doctor's checkup if it persists.

Yes, it is quite common to have no fever. Please rest well and keep sipping warm water.

I had norovirus without any fever but suffered severe dehydration and kidney strain because I delayed treatment. Please don't take it lightly; consult a doctor if you can't keep liquids down.
