Can you have intercourse with a kidney stent?

I recently had a kidney stent placed due to a blockage. I'm wondering if it's okay to have intercourse while the stent is still in place, or if it might cause discomfort.

It is very important to consult your doctor before trying. When you have a stent, any extra movement can shift it or cause irritation in the bladder wall, which can lead to bleeding. Just like managing thyroid levels requires regular checkups, keeping track of your stent's position through doctor visits is crucial.

Yes, you can theoretically have intercourse, but honestly, most people find it quite uncomfortable. The stent has a string or a curved end in the bladder which can cause a pinching sensation or a strong urge to urinate during physical activity. If you do try, keep things extremely gentle.

Bhai, simple baat batata hoon. Agar stent andar hai toh pressure se bleeding hone ka darr rehta hai. Isse acha hai ki jab tak doctor stent nikal nahi dete, tab tak thoda parhez hi rakhein. Stent nikalne mein mushkil se 5-10 minute lagte hain, uske baad sab normal ho jayega.

Don't risk shifting the stent, because if it dislodges, you'll have to pay for another expensive cystoscopy to reposition or remove it early. A stent removal procedure itself can cost anywhere from 5,000 to 15,000 rupees depending on the hospital. Better to wait and save yourself the extra medical bill.

Please prioritize healing your body right now. A kidney stent is placed to help your internal organs recover, so it is best to avoid any physical strain that might disrupt this process. Praying for your quick recovery, just stay positive and let your body heal peacefully.

Doctor log mana toh nahi karte, par sach mein bahut discomfort hota hai, ho na. Mere husband ko stent tha tab thoda bhi chalne se urine mein blood aata tha. Toh aise mein risk nahi lena hi better hai, thoda din ruk jao.

Realistically speaking, you should avoid it. If you have a busy job, dealing with sudden pain, blood in urine, or a urinary tract infection from a displaced stent will lead to unplanned sick leaves. It's much easier to just wait a couple of weeks until the urologist removes the stent.
