Can you have fever with uti?
I think I might have a UTI, as I have burning while peeing and frequent urges. I also feel a bit feverish, but I'm not sure if a UTI can cause a fever. Is it common to have a fever if you have a urinary tract infection?

Yes, you can get a fever with a UTI. Usually, it means the infection is spreading or getting more serious. When I train clients, I always tell them to stay super hydrated, but if you have a fever with burning urination, stop working out and see a doctor right away.
Oh my god, yes, I had a high shivering fever along with a UTI last month and it was absolutely terrifying. Has anyone else felt extremely cold and weak with this? I had to go to the clinic immediately because the burning got unbearable.
Yes, fever is common when a UTI becomes more severe. It is very important to get a urine routine and culture test done under a doctor's guidance.
A fever with a UTI is definitely possible and it absolutely ruins your appetite, yaar. When my sister had it, she couldn't even enjoy her favorite soup because of the fever and nausea. Please get it treated quickly so you can get back to eating properly!
A mild UTI can sometimes be helped by drinking lots of water, tender coconut water, or barley water. But if you have developed a proper fever, it means the infection has gone deeper, maybe even to the kidneys. Please don't rely on home remedies now and see a doctor immediately.
