Can you have eczema and psoriasis together?

I have been diagnosed with eczema, but lately, some of my skin flare-ups have been looking different from my usual eczema. My friend mentioned that sometimes people can have psoriasis too. Is it possible for someone to have both eczema and psoriasis occurring together?

I have dealt with chronic dry patches for years. My doctor told me I have eczema on my hands, but a different patch on my knee looked like mild psoriasis. Using a heavy, plain moisturizer right after my shower has been my main saving grace.

Bro, yes you can. I literally have eczema on my inner elbows and psoriasis patches on my scalp. It is super annoying, but once you figure out the right creams with a good dermatologist, it becomes much easier to manage.

Please don't go by what people tell you on forums or trust random homemade lep packs for this. Eczema and psoriasis look very similar but need completely different medical approaches. Go to a certified dermatologist and get a proper diagnosis.

Yes, it is possible to have both at the same time. Please don't be disheartened, with the right care and a doctor's guidance, your skin will feel much better soon.

Haan na, it is very much possible and it gets so irritating during winter. My cousin has both and her skin gets so dry. Just keep applying coconut oil and don't use very hot water for bathing, otherwise the itching increases a lot.

Yes, they can co-exist. I use a health tracker to log my flare-ups and noticed that high stress levels trigger both skin issues. Tracking your sleep, water intake, and stress can actually help you manage these flare-ups much better.

I completely panicked when my skin started flaking and showing red patches, thinking I had both severe eczema and psoriasis. But when I visited the dermatologist, it turned out to be just a simple allergic reaction to a new soap. It is usually much simpler than we fear!
