Can you have cellulitis without fever?

I have this red, swollen patch on my leg, and it's quite painful to touch. Everyone says cellulitis comes with fever, but I don't have any temperature at all. Is it possible to have cellulitis symptoms without actually getting a fever?

Don't listen to anyone offering home remedies for skin infections here. Cellulitis is a bacterial infection and can definitely happen without a fever in the early stages. Get it verified by a proper dermatologist or general physician immediately before it spreads.

Yes, you absolutely can. When I had a bad patch of redness on my leg, there was no fever at all, just pain and warmth. It is better to show a doctor quickly because cellulitis needs proper antibiotics to clear up.

Yes, fever is not mandatory. If the skin is red, swollen, and feels hot to the touch, it is cellulitis. Stop waiting for a fever to develop and go to an urgent care clinic today.

From what I know, infections can sometimes behave weirdly without showing typical signs like fever. Since our body's immune response varies, please don't take a risk. A quick consultation with a doctor is the safest way to handle this.

My doctor told me that localized skin infections like cellulitis don't always trigger a systemic fever, especially if your immune system is managing to keep it contained in one area. However, it still requires medical evaluation to prevent deep tissue issues.

Yes, cellulitis can start locally without causing a full-body fever. The most practical thing is to draw a line around the redness with a pen. If it spreads past that line, run to your nearest clinic immediately.

As someone who deals with patient cases daily, yes, you can have cellulitis with normal temperature. The classic signs are localized warmth, swelling, and redness. Go to a clinic soon so they can start you on the right course of antibiotics.

Yes, it is possible to have it without a fever. While you must see a doctor for prescription meds, try to avoid heavy, greasy food right now so your body can focus its energy on healing the skin tissue.

You can keep the area elevated to reduce swelling naturally, but yes, cellulitis is a serious bacterial issue that can happen without fever. Since it can escalate fast, please skip the home remedies this time and consult a doctor immediately.

I was actually researching this yesterday because a cousin has a very red, painful arm patch but no temperature. It seems cellulitis can totally start without fever, which is quite surprising. Hope you get it checked.

I remember feeling so confused and anxious when I had cellulitis because there was no fever, and people told me I was overreacting. It is extremely scary when symptoms don't match the textbook. Please trust your gut and get medical help, your pain is valid.

Haan na, even without fever it can happen. Mere friend ko leg pe swelling aur redness hua tha par fever bilkul nahi tha. Please doctor ko dikhao, because neglecting it can make it worse ho na.

I totally understand how stressful it is when you have physical symptoms but no fever to 'prove' you are sick. Yes, cellulitis can exist without fever. Please don't let anxiety take over, just book a quick appointment to ease your mind.

Yes, you can definitely have cellulitis without any fever! Sometimes the skin just gets super red and tender. Keep it clean and dry, and definitely let a doctor look at it soon. Take care!

Yes, cellulitis can happen without a fever. Honestly, I love home remedies, but for cellulitis you absolutely should not try treating it at home with turmeric or pastes. Go get proper doctor-prescribed antibiotics before it spreads.
