Can you have a tooth infection without pain?

My dentist mentioned that one of my old fillings might have an infection underneath, but I feel absolutely no pain. I was surprised to hear this. Is it possible to have a tooth infection without feeling any pain?

Actually yes, tooth infection bina pain ke ho sakta hai yaar. Mere case me nerve completely dead ho gayi thi toh mujhe kuch feel hi nahi hua. Go to a dentist before it gets worse.

Lack of pain doesn't mean your tooth is healthy. If the infection has killed the dental pulp, you won't feel anything, but the bacteria are still eating away at your jawbone. Get an X-ray done this week.

I felt so confused and anxious when the dentist said I had a deep infection because I literally felt no pain at all. I kept doubting the diagnosis, but getting a second opinion helped me accept it and get the treatment done.

I had a deep cavity that never hurt at all, but during a routine checkup, the doctor found a severe infection underneath. I ended up needing a root canal treatment even though there was zero pain.

Even if you are eating clean and working out daily, dental hygiene is a different ball game. A silent tooth infection can affect your overall system and energy levels, so definitely get it checked by a professional.

Haan bhai, mere sath bhi yahi hua tha. Pain bilkul nahi tha par x-ray me bada sa infection dikha. Isliye kehte hain na ki dentist ke paas chakkar lagate rehna chahiye.

Look out for a bad taste in your mouth or a small pimple-like bump on your gums. Those are classic signs of a draining infection that doesn't cause pain because the pressure is being released. Don't ignore those signs.

Dental treatments can get very expensive if you delay them. A basic X-ray costs very little now, and catching the infection early can save you from a costly root canal or implant later on. Plan a visit soon.

Yes beta, painless dental infections are quite common in older adults. It is always wise to visit your family dentist twice a year so they can catch these quiet issues early before they cause bigger health problems.

Oh god, this is my biggest fear, having an infection and not even knowing it. Now I am worrying about my own teeth! Please go get a checkup done so you can be stress-free, and I should probably do the same.

Listen, don't sit around waiting for a toothache to start. If you suspect an infection or see any gum changes, just go to a dentist. It is much easier to fix it now than dealing with a swollen face later.

When the nerve of the tooth dies, the pain stops, but the bacterial infection remains active. It can still spread to other parts of your face or body, so please get a dental consultation as soon as possible.
