Can you have a stroke and not know it?

I had a sudden bout of extreme dizziness and blurred vision last week that passed quickly. It got me thinking about hidden health issues. Can you actually have a stroke and not be aware of it at the time?

Haan na, silent stroke bolte hain isko. Pata hi nahi chalta ki kab thoda sa block ho gaya brain me. Doctor ke paas jaakar proper checkup karwana hi safe rehta hai, ignore nahi karna chahiye.

I am so sleep-deprived that I sometimes can't remember where I kept my keys, and I worry if it is a silent stroke! But seriously, yes, it can happen without obvious symptoms. Better to get checked by a doctor than guessing like me.

Definitely, silent strokes show no immediate outward symptoms. Go to a well-equipped hospital and get an MRI or CT scan done. Ask your neurologist to explain the results clearly so you can take preventive action.

I recently found out during a routine scan for vertigo that I had a tiny silent stroke in the past. It was shocking because I had no idea when it happened. Please don't ignore risk factors like high cholesterol.

My father went through this. He had minor balance issues which he blamed on old age, but it was actually a series of silent strokes. My advice is to monitor blood pressure daily and get a neurological evaluation done if you notice any subtle changes in movement.

Yes, it is possible. Given our hectic schedules, we often brush off mild confusion or numbness as work fatigue. If you have chronic high BP or diabetes, book an appointment with a specialist immediately instead of putting it off.
