Can you have a sinus infection without a fever?

For the past few days, I've had a constant blocked nose and a heavy feeling in my head, very similar to when I had a sinus infection before. However, this time, I don't have a fever. Can you have a sinus infection without having any fever symptoms?

Oh absolutely! Your nose can behave like a leaking tap and your head can feel like a bowling ball even if your body temperature is as cool as a cucumber. No fever needed for sinus to show its full drama!

It is so frustrating because when you don't have a fever, people think you are just making excuses. But the facial pain and heavy head from sinus can be so exhausting and depressing. I completely feel your pain.

Yes, especially if it is caused by allergies or environmental dust. Keep your hydration levels high, eat warm home-cooked meals, and maybe skip the heavy gym workouts until the head pressure clears up.

Our bodies sometimes hold onto cold and congestion without showing a fever. Keep your mind calm, drink warm herbal tea, and let your body heal naturally. Take care and stay positive.

Yes, puttar. Many times sinus is just due to cold air or dust blockages. I always recommend inhaling steam with a drop of eucalyptus oil and drinking warm turmeric milk before bed. It gives wonderful relief without any heavy medicines.
