Can you have a sinus infection with no fever?

I've had a lot of nasal congestion, facial pressure, and headache for over a week now, which feels like a sinus infection. But I haven't had any fever at all. Can you really have a sinus infection even without a fever?

Yes, you can definitely have sinus inflammation and blockage without running any fever. Please take care of yourself, try warm steam inhalation, and rest.

I was just reading up on this because my nose is totally blocked and my forehead is heavy, but my thermometer shows a normal 98.4. It turns out chronic or even mild acute sinus issues often don't cause a fever at all.

Yes, it is very common. I often get sinus pressure without fever, and if my doctor clears it, I still go for a light walk to keep my circulation going, which actually helps clear the nasal passages. Just don't push yourself too hard.

I ignored a heavy headache and blocked nose for weeks because 'fever nahi tha'. It eventually turned into a severe bacterial infection that required heavy antibiotics. Please don't ignore it, get it checked by an ENT doctor.

Yes, totally! Sinus pressure is super annoying even without a fever. Try some hot soup and steam inhalation, it works wonders! Get well soon!
