Can you have a heart attack without high blood pressure?

My blood pressure is usually perfectly fine, no issues there. But I have other risk factors, like a family history. So I'm wondering if one can still have a heart attack even without having high blood pressure?

Yes, you definitely can. High blood pressure is just one of many risk factors; other issues like diabetes, high cholesterol, smoking, or family history can trigger an attack even if your BP is perfect. Please look at your overall lipid profile and health markers, not just the BP numbers.

Yes, you can. I always had excellent blood pressure readings, so I ignored severe chest heaviness thinking it was just acidity. It turned out to be a heart attack, and I regret delaying my hospital visit. Please get a checkup immediately if you have symptoms.

Look, don't stay in the misunderstanding that normal BP means your heart is perfectly safe. Many people with normal blood pressure get heart attacks due to stress and blocked arteries. Stop worrying about just one number and go get a proper cardiac screening done.

Yes, it is possible. I once panicked when I had weird chest sensations, thinking I was having a heart attack even though my BP was normal. It turned out to be muscle anxiety, but the doctor did explain that normal BP doesn't rule out heart issues. It's always reassuring to get a quick doctor's check to be sure.

Yes, indeed. My elder uncle always had normal BP but suffered an attack due to blockages. My mother always says to take care of diet and eat low-fat foods, but honestly, it is best to trust your cardiologist and get regular tests done to stay safe.

Yeah bro, my dad had an attack last year and his BP has always been absolutely normal. The doctor said his blockages were due to high stress and cholesterol. So don't assume you're safe just because your BP reading is fine.
