Can you have a heart attack with normal blood pressure?

My last check-up showed normal blood pressure, and I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle. However, a friend's uncle had a heart attack despite having normal BP, which has got me thinking. Can a heart attack still occur with normal blood pressure readings?

Yes, it is totally possible! Normal BP is great, but things like high stress or bad cholesterol can still affect the heart. Keep smiling, stay active, and don't skip your annual health checks! 😊👍

This really worries me because my BP is always around 115/75, but I still get occasional chest tightness. Has anyone else with perfect blood pressure been diagnosed with a heart condition? It's so scary when you can't rely on basic numbers.

Actually yes, because blood pressure is just one metric. Blockages can still happen due to genetics or poor nutrition. If your doctor allows, aim for at least 30 minutes of brisk walking daily to keep your cardiovascular system clean and strong.

Yes, you can. My smart watch shows perfect resting heart rate and my BP is normal, but my doctor told me that internal arterial blockages don't always change these daily metrics. It's best to track your overall lipid profile and HbA1c alongside your daily steps.

Yes, you can have an attack even with normal blood pressure. Many people think they can eat oily, fried foods just because their BP is fine, but that creates silent blockages. Focus on a high-fiber vegetarian diet with less oil and lots of green veggies.

My close friend always had ideal blood pressure readings, but he suffered a heart attack last winter. The doctors found significant blockages in his arteries that nobody suspected. It made me realize that normal BP doesn't tell the whole story.

I had a heart attack at 52 despite having a perfect 120/80 blood pressure my entire life. The cause was high triglycerides and work stress. My tip is to never ignore chronic fatigue or sudden heartburn, and get an actual stress test (TMT) done.
