Can you have a fever with a common cold?

I'm down with a common cold – sneezing, sore throat, feeling generally unwell. Today, I also noticed I have a low-grade fever. My dadi says it's normal. Can you have a fever along with a common cold?

Yes, you can definitely run a mild fever with a cold. Don't worry at all, just take warm fluids, rest well, and you will be fine in a couple of days.

Yes, absolutely. My smart ring often logs a minor temperature bump when I catch a cold. It is a normal physiological reaction, nothing to worry about.

Yes, it happens, but don't just rely on home remedies or online forums if the fever stays high. Get a proper checkup from a qualified doctor.

Totally. Sometimes the body heats up a bit to fight the cold. Just skip the heavy lifting at the gym for a few days and keep your nutrition clean.

I have a blocked nose and a mild fever today. Is it normal to have both, or could it be something worse? Did anyone else experience this?
