Can you give yourself hepatitis?

While watching a show, a character contracted Hepatitis through something they did themselves. This made me wonder. Can a person actually 'give themselves' Hepatitis through their own actions or habits, apart from accidental exposure?

I completely understand how terrifying it is to worry about contracting liver diseases, I used to lose sleep over this. But remember, you can't just 'give' yourself hepatitis out of nowhere—it is caused by specific viruses or toxins like heavy alcohol. Try to breathe easy and consult a doctor to clear your doubts.

Dekho, aise baithe-bhaite hepatitis nahi hota. Hepatitis virus se hota hai jo gande khane-paani se ya infected needles se phailta hai. Ya fir hadd se zyada daaru peene se liver kharab hota hai. Clean khao, safe raho aur faltu tension mat lo.

Hepatitis A and E are mostly transmitted through contaminated food and water. This is why I am extremely careful about eating raw salads or roadside juices during monsoon season. Always consume freshly cooked home food and drink purified water to stay safe.

I am too tired from waking up at 5 AM to worry about giving myself viral infections! But honestly, unless you are drinking highly contaminated water or sharing unsterilized needles at a shady clinic, you can't just spawn hepatitis. Just sleep well and wash your hands.

In our family, we are always told to boil drinking water to avoid jaundice and liver infections. However, medical science shows there are different types of hepatitis, some viral and some alcoholic. It is always wise to ask a doctor about the hepatitis vaccine for solid protection.

The liver is a vital organ that processes everything we consume, both physically and emotionally. Protect it by eating pure, clean foods and keeping your mind free of stress. Live a disciplined life, stay positive, and consult a physician if you feel unwell.

If you are worried about liver health, you can track symptoms like unexplained fatigue or dark urine on your wellness apps. Non-alcoholic fatty liver can sometimes cause liver inflammation (NASH), which is also a form of hepatitis. Keep an eye on your activity levels and get a liver function test.
