Can you give yourself a heart attack from stress?

I've been under immense work pressure lately, and I often feel my heart racing and chest tightness when stressed. My friend casually remarked that too much stress can give you a heart attack. Is it actually possible to induce a heart attack just from severe stress?

Dekho, direct stress se heart attack toh nahi hota, par extreme stress blood pressure aur heart rate itna badha deta hai ki purani blockage trigger ho sakti hai. Apni mental health ko halke mein mat lo. Thoda chill karo aur doctor se baat karo.

Managing my thyroid has taught me how much stress affects the entire endocrine and cardiovascular system. It raises cortisol which messes up everything. Please get your basic blood panels, lipid levels, and thyroid checked regularly to keep your heart safe.

I used to get severe chest tightness from work stress and tried everything from herbal teas to warm milk before bed. While home remedies help calm your nerves, extreme stress-induced chest pain needs proper clinical evaluation. Don't ignore it thinking it is just anxiety.

Chronic stress definitely damages your blood vessels over time and increases the risk of heart issues. The most practical thing you can do is start walking 30 minutes daily and cutting down on smoking or junk food. Small lifestyle changes make a big difference.

Extreme emotional stress can cause a rare condition called broken heart syndrome, which mimics a heart attack. Doing 10 minutes of deep breathing and Anulom Vilom daily has helped me keep my nervous system calm. Please practice deep relaxation and consult a doctor.
