Can you get pregnant without a thyroid?

I had my thyroid gland removed due to a medical condition a few years back, and I've been on hormone replacement ever since. My husband and I are now thinking about having children. Can you get pregnant without a thyroid gland?

Yes, you can surely get pregnant. You just need to take your daily thyroid hormone replacement pill regularly. Rest assured, many women have had beautiful, healthy babies this way.

Please do not delay your doctor visits. I once ignored my fluctuating health symptoms and faced major issues later. If you don't have a thyroid, your body relies completely on external pills, so get your blood levels checked by a doctor immediately.

Yes, you absolutely can! 😊 You just have to be best friends with your daily thyroid medicine. Once your hormone levels are perfectly balanced, everything is super smooth. All the best to you!

While you must take your doctor's daily hormone pills, you can also support your body by eating fresh fruits and sleeping on time. But remember, home tips cannot replace the thyroid gland, so regular medical tests are a must.

I had my thyroid gland removed last year due to a nodule and I am so scared about trying to conceive now. Has anyone here actually had a successful pregnancy after a complete thyroidectomy? I really need some hope.

You can certainly conceive. Along with your regular hormone therapy, practicing gentle breathing exercises like pranayama can help manage your stress levels. A calm mind and body make the pregnancy journey much easier.

In our times, we trusted old wisdom, but for thyroid absence, modern medicine is a blessing. Eat warm, home-cooked meals and keep your mind calm with daily prayers, but never miss your doctor's daily tablet. It is necessary for the child's growth.

I was actually reading up on this because my sister is planning a family and doesn't have a thyroid. It is amazing how modern medicine can completely replace the gland's function. It seems perfectly possible as long as you follow the doctor's plan.

I don't have a thyroid gland either. My doctor simply monitored my TSH levels every single month during my pregnancy and adjusted my medicine dose. It was a very normal experience for me and my baby was born healthy.

Haan bilkul ho sakta hai, tension mat lo. Hamare pados mein ek behan ka thyroid nikal gaya tha, par unka bacha bilkul tandurust paida hua. Bas doctor ki dawai roz subah bina bhule kha lena.
