Can you get pregnant with overactive thyroid?

I've been diagnosed with an overactive thyroid condition for a couple of years now. My husband and I are now planning to start a family. I'm wondering, can you get pregnant if you have an overactive thyroid?

Arre, at this age my body has ten different issues, but yes, my wife had thyroid issues back then too. It is possible to conceive, but let me tell you, it makes you twice as tired. Get those hormone levels checked and controlled first, otherwise, it is a constant struggle.

I can only share what happened with me. I had hyperthyroidism and my periods were completely irregular, which made conceiving really hard. Once my endocrinologist adjusted my daily dose and got my TSH levels in the normal range, things got much easier for us.

Hey, don't stress too much about this, seriously! Plenty of women with overactive thyroid have perfectly healthy babies. Just get in touch with a good doctor, get your meds sorted, and take care of your health. Everything will fall into place, chill.

Yes, you definitely can, but you shouldn't try without getting your thyroid levels under control first. Uncontrolled hyperthyroidism can lead to complications like early delivery or high BP. Get a proper thyroid panel test done and consult a specialist immediately.

I am actually facing something similar and was quite scared to ask anyone about it. Is it safe to take thyroid medications during pregnancy? If anyone here has gone through this, please share how you managed it.

You can surely conceive, but thyroid needs proper attention. Along with your regular doctor's medicines, try to reduce stress and eat fresh ghar ka khana. But please do not skip your medical checkups, as the baby's health depends on your hormone levels.

It is totally possible, but keep in mind that thyroid tests can add up if you do them every month. I suggest finding a local lab that offers yearly health packages to save some money. Get your levels normal before trying, as high-risk pregnancy visits cost way more later.
