Can you get migraines from lack of sleep?

I've been working late nights consistently and barely getting 4-5 hours of sleep. Since this routine started, I've noticed severe headaches, almost like migraines. Can lack of sleep actually cause migraines?

I totally get it, migraine pain is absolute torture and bad sleep makes it ten times worse. The throbbing is just unbearable when you haven't rested well.

In my younger days, I used to work late nights and get terrible headaches. Once I fixed my sleeping pattern, the pain reduced significantly. Take rest, it is the best medicine.

Lack of sleep is my primary migraine trigger. Try to set a strict bedtime and avoid screens for 30 minutes before sleeping; it really helps manage the frequency of attacks.

Bro, 100%. If I sleep less than 6 hours, I wake up with a killer headache behind my eyes. Keep a fixed sleep schedule, it's the only thing that works.

Yes, sleep deprivation combined with skipping breakfast because you woke up late is a recipe for a massive migraine. Always sleep on time and don't skip your morning chai and paratha!

People on the internet will tell you all sorts of oils and herbs cure migraines. Honestly, just track your sleep patterns and discuss them with a proper neurologist instead of experimenting.

Sleep is definitely a big factor, so don't stress too much tonight. Just put on some light music, keep your room dark, and try to get a good 8 hours of rest.

Yes, irregular sleep deeply disturbs our body's natural rhythm. Doing 10 minutes of Anulom Vilom pranayama before sleeping can calm your nerves and help you get deep, migraine-free rest.
