Can you get lung cancer from pot?

Some of my college friends occasionally smoke pot, and I've heard conflicting things about its health effects. I'm wondering about the risks to their lungs. Can you get lung cancer from pot?

Actually, inhaling any kind of smoke is bad for your lungs, yaar. People think pot is totally natural and safe, but the combustion still releases tar and toxins into your chest. It definitely raises the risk of respiratory issues over time.

Smoking anything is harmful to the delicate tissues of the lungs. For lung health, one should practice deep breathing and eat fresh, clean food. If you are having a persistent cough or breathing issues, please consult a proper doctor rather than relying on online forums.

I used to panic so much thinking even occasional social use would instantly damage my lungs permanently. While any smoke has risks, the chance of lung cancer from very rare, light use is generally lower than heavy tobacco smoking, so don't stress yourself to death over past slip-ups.

I completely understand how worrying these health thoughts can be, especially when you start researching online. The anxiety about what we might have done to our bodies is very real. It's best to stop overthinking and speak to a pulmonologist who can give you clear, scientific answers.

Medical literature shows that marijuana smoke contains many of the same carcinogens as tobacco smoke, often deposited in larger amounts because users tend to inhale more deeply. For an accurate assessment of your lung health, consulting a specialist is the most prudent step.

In my youth, many friends thought smoking these things was harmless fun. Over the years, I saw several of them develop chronic bronchitis and respiratory issues. Take my word for it, keeping your body free from all smoking habits is the best choice you will make.

The lungs are meant only to receive clean, pure air and life-giving prana. Introducing hot smoke, whether from tobacco or herbs, disturbs the natural balance of the respiratory system. Keep your lungs pure with daily pranayama to maintain good health.

Any kind of smoke inhalation decreases your stamina and lung capacity, which directly affects your cardio workouts. If you want to keep your lungs strong, focus on running, swimming, or high-intensity training instead of putting smoke into your chest.

I am a bit shy to ask this, but does smoking weed occasionally cause the same amount of damage as regular cigarettes? My college friends say it is completely safe because it is herbal, but I feel very doubtful about it.
