Can you get hepatitis from tattoos?

I'm thinking of getting a tattoo, but my mom told me it's risky because of infections. Is it possible to get hepatitis from tattoos if the place isn't hygienic?

Yes, absolutely! If the tattoo needle is reused, it can easily transmit Hepatitis B or C through infected blood. If you just got a tattoo and are feeling fatigued, consult a doctor first, and only stick to very light walking if your body feels up to it.

I got a small tattoo last month and now I am constantly searching about infected needles and getting panic attacks. Has anyone else felt this level of anxiety after getting inked? Did you guys go for a test to calm down?

Getting a tattoo with unsterilized equipment is a major risk factor for blood-borne diseases like Hepatitis B and C. If you have any doubts about the shop you visited, please get a blood test done immediately for safety.

Haan, bilkul chances hote hain agar parlor wale clean needles use nahi karte na. Hamesha check karna chahiye ki woh naya packet khol rahe hain ya nahi. Agar doubt hai toh test kara lo, safe raho.

Yes, blood contamination from tattoo needles is a common way to contract hepatitis. Since I monitor my BP and liver health closely with routine blood tests, I highly recommend everyone gets checked after such procedures.
