Can you get hepatitis from spit?

Someone accidentally spat near me on the street, and I got really anxious after that. Does saliva carry the hepatitis virus? I'm just very concerned.

Don't go by what people write on random blogs about saliva and spit spreading hepatitis. Scientifically, only Hepatitis B has trace amounts in saliva but it rarely spreads this way unless there is blood. Verify everything with a qualified doctor.

I totally understand how stressful it is to worry about infections from everyday contacts. I used to panic if someone sneezed or spit near me. Usually, the risk is very low, but speaking to a healthcare professional really helped ease my anxiety.

Spit is not a primary way to contract hepatitis unless there is blood mixed in it. Focus on eating a clean, home-cooked diet to keep your immune system strong. Avoid outside food where hygiene standards might be compromised.

Haan, waise toh saliva se bilkul nahi spread hota normal cases mein, jab tak blood na ho. Toh tension lene ki koi baat nahi hai na. Phir bhi man ko shanti dene ke liye doctor se pooch lo.

In my sixty years, I have seen people worry about all kinds of small things. Hepatitis does not spread through spit under normal circumstances, so do not let fear ruin your peace of mind. Just maintain clean habits and you will be fine.
