Can you get hepatitis c from your own blood?

I had a small cut recently and it got me thinking. If someone somehow got hepatitis C, let's say from an unsterilized needle, and then they accidentally touch their own blood later, can they get re-infected or contract it again *from their own blood*?

I once ignored minor fatigue thinking it was nothing, and it turned out to be a severe issue. If you already have Hep C in your blood, it can damage your liver over time. Get a proper liver profile done instead of ignoring it.

Your own blood cannot spontaneously create the virus unless you were already exposed to it from outside. Focus on a clean diet to support your liver. If you have concerns, do get a routine screening.

Managing PCOS has made me realize how complex our bodies are. You can't 'catch' Hep C from your own clean blood, but if your blood is already infected, it can spread to other parts or other people. Always handle any cuts with care.

You cannot infect yourself with Hep C from your own blood unless the virus was already present in your body from a previous exposure. To be absolutely sure of your status, please get a proper blood test done for safety.

I totally understand how these confusing thoughts can make you feel anxious. Don't worry, your own blood cannot create a new infection by itself. You only get it from external exposure.

Haan na, your own blood won't create a new virus by itself, re. Unless you already had exposure from outside, you are safe. Tension mat lo.

Think logically. Your own blood won't suddenly generate Hep C out of nowhere. You only get it if infected blood from someone else enters your body. If you are doubting, just go get tested.
