Can you get hepatitis c from intercourse?

My friend and I were discussing safe practices, and the topic of hepatitis C came up. I was wondering if it's possible to get hepatitis C through intercourse, and how common that might be?

Well, while you are figuring this out, don't let the stress ruin your appetite! Yes, it can transmit through intercourse if there is any blood contact, though it is less common than other ways. Better to use protection and keep things safe.

Babu, yeh sab baatein khulkar nahi puchi jaati par zaroori hain. Isse bilkul asar pad sakta hai agar dhyan na rakha jaye. Doctor babu se milkar thik se jach karwa lo, sharam mat karo.

Listen bro, don't stress too much, but yes, it is possible if there is any microscopic blood exchange during the act. It is not as highly infectious sexually as Hep B, but using protection is always the smartest move.

I was actually researching this yesterday out of curiosity. It turns out sexual transmission of Hep C is quite low unless there is blood present or rough intercourse. Still, safety first, right?

Yes, it is technically possible, though your chances are probably lower than getting stuck in Mumbai traffic! Just use protection, keep it safe, and you won't have to lose sleep over this.

Let's be direct. Yes, it can spread during intercourse, especially if there are multiple partners or rough contact that causes tiny tears. Use condoms and get tested regularly if you have multiple partners. Simple.
