Can you get hepatitis c from drinking after someone?

We often share glasses or bottles at parties, especially when it's crowded. My cousin told me to be careful, saying you can catch things. Can you really get hepatitis C from drinking after someone else?

No, you cannot. Hepatitis C is a blood-borne virus, so sharing a glass of water or juice with an infected person won't transmit it. Normal saliva doesn't carry enough viral load to spread it, so you can relax.

Stay positive and let go of these unnecessary fears. Nature has made our bodies strong, and sharing a simple drink with someone won't pass Hepatitis C. Take care of your mental peace and keep your thoughts calm.

From a hygiene point of view, it is always better to have your own bottle or glass, but don't worry about Hep C. It doesn't spread through sharing food or drinks at all. Just stick to clean, home-cooked food for general wellness.

The senior doctors at Care Hospital told me that Hep C requires direct blood-to-blood contact to spread. Sharing cups or bottles is completely safe. If you still have doubts, a quick consultation with a general physician will clear everything.

I totally get it, sometimes we hear things and start worrying about everyday habits like sharing a cup. But please rest easy, because Hep C absolutely does not spread through drinking after someone. You are safe.
