Can you get hepatitis b twice?

My aunt had hepatitis B many years ago and recovered. She's now asking if it's possible to get infected with hepatitis B a second time, or if having it once gives you lifelong immunity?

Please don't listen to people who say natural herbs can cure or prevent it again. Only proper medical tests can tell your immunity status. Go to a certified pathology lab and consult an MD physician.

Look, if you had acute Hep B and recovered fully, your body usually develops antibodies so you don't get it again. But if it became chronic, then it stays in your system. Don't play guessing games with this, go get a surface antibody test done.

Generally, getting reinfected with Hepatitis B after a full recovery is extremely rare because your body remembers the virus. However, reactivation can happen in some medical cases if your immunity gets very weak. Keep a track of your health and get a routine checkup once a year.

Bhai, humare yahan ke doctor saheb kehte hain ki ek baar thik ho gaye toh dobara nahi hota aam taur par. Par sharir ka dhyan rakhna sabse zaroori hai. Achha khana khao aur ek baar bade hospital mein dikha lo.

Actually yaar, once you clear the acute infection, you are mostly safe for life because of natural immunity. But if the virus goes into a dormant chronic state, it can reactivate later if immunity drops. Best is to check your antibody levels with a simple test.

I ignored mild fatigue for months thinking it was just work stress, but my liver parameters were completely messed up. If you are doubting whether you have it again or if it reactivated, don't wait. Get a proper liver function test and consult a specialist immediately.
