Can you get heat stroke in 80 degree weather?

We often hear about people getting heat stroke when it's super hot, especially here. My friend told me that even 80 degrees Fahrenheit (which is like 27 Celsius) can cause it. Is it true that you can get heat stroke in such weather, or does it have to be much hotter, especially for us in India?

I used to panic whenever the temperature rose slightly, thinking I would get heat stroke. But actually, 80 degrees Fahrenheit (around 26-27°C) is quite mild and very unlikely to cause heat stroke unless you are doing extreme physical labor without water. Just stay hydrated and you will be fine.

Please don't take dehydration lightly. I once ignored feeling dizzy in mildly warm weather, thinking it was nothing, and ended up fainting due to heat exhaustion. If you are feeling unusually sick, headachey, or confused, go see a doctor immediately.

Haan, 80 degrees toh kafi normal temperature hai na, hum Punjabiyon ke liye toh yeh spring season jaisa hai! Par haan, agar dhoop mein bohot der khade ho aur paani nahi pi rahe, toh dehydration ho sakti hai. Nimbu paani peete raho bahi.

While 80 degrees is usually safe, high humidity can make it feel much hotter and strain your body. If you or someone else starts showing symptoms like heavy sweating, nausea, or a rapid pulse, it is always safest to seek medical help right away.

At this temperature, true heat stroke is very rare, but body heat can still rise. I always recommend drinking a glass of buttermilk or tender coconut water to keep the stomach cool. It is a simple and time-tested way to stay fresh.

It can be really scary when your body doesn't tolerate heat well and you start feeling sick even in moderate weather. I have struggled with severe heat anxiety myself. Just listen to your body, rest in the shade, and don't push yourself too hard.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! 80 degrees is actually quite comfortable for most people. Just carry a water bottle, wear a cap if you are going out in the sun, and enjoy your day.
