Can you get fever blisters on your cheek?

My cousin recently got a painful blister on his cheek, not near his mouth, and he's calling it a fever blister. I thought they only appeared on or near the lips. Is it possible to get fever blisters on your cheek?

Oh no, having a blister on the cheek makes it so hard to chew my favourite crispy golgappas! I hate when this happens. I just drink cold lassi to feel better and wait for it to dry out.

Bhai, blisters can pop up anywhere on the face if there is an infection. Just don't touch them with dirty hands or try to pop them, otherwise they will leave bad marks on your face. Go show it to a doctor.

At this age, my skin reacts to everything, whether it's sun, dust, or stress. Getting a blister on the cheek just adds to the beauty, no? Jokes apart, just keep it clean and let it dry naturally.

Don't put random kitchen pastes or haldi on cheek blisters, it might cause skin irritation or scarring. Better to get it checked by a proper dermatologist who can identify if it is viral or just a bad pimple.

I get cystic acne on my cheeks because of PCOS, and sometimes they look exactly like fever blisters. Since I'm not a medical expert, I would suggest getting it checked so you don't use the wrong cream.

My doctor told me that cold sores can spread to cheeks or nose if you touch an active blister and then touch your face. She strictly advised me to wash my hands frequently and apply a prescribed antiviral ointment.

I was actually researching this online because my cousin got a red blister near his cheekbone. Apparently, the herpes simplex virus can sometimes travel to other parts of the face, not just the lips. Quite interesting.

These outbreaks on the face often indicate excess body heat and stress. Practicing sheetali pranayama daily has helped me cool down my system and reduced these facial breakouts significantly over time.
