Can you get eczema out of nowhere?

I've always had pretty normal skin, but suddenly, a few months ago, I started developing these really itchy, dry patches on my arms and legs out of nowhere. It's quite frustrating. Can eczema just appear suddenly in adulthood?

Yeah, honestly it just pops up randomly. I never had skin issues but during my exams last month, my hands suddenly got super dry and itchy. The doctor said it was just a stress-induced eczema flare-up.

Yes, absolutely! I just recovered from a sudden flare-up on my arms last month. I had never had eczema in my life, and suddenly these itchy red patches appeared overnight because of dry winter weather. A good dermatologist gave me a soothing barrier cream and it cleared right up.

Haan na, it can definitely happen out of nowhere. One day your skin is perfectly fine, and the next day it is full of dry, red patches. Usually, sudden stress or a new soap triggers it. Do consult a doctor to find the exact reason.

Yes, eczema can develop suddenly at any age. It is best to consult a dermatologist to identify your triggers.

Yes, child, skin issues can suddenly appear even if you have never faced them before. As we grow older, the skin gets thinner and more dry, making it prone to sudden eczema. Don't worry, just keep your skin well-moisturized and let a doctor guide you.
