Can you get arthritis in your ankles?

My ankles have been giving me a lot of trouble lately, feeling stiff and painful, especially in the mornings. I always hear about arthritis in knees or hands, but not so much in ankles. Is it possible to get arthritis specifically in your ankles?

Yes, you can. I developed ankle arthritis after ignoring multiple sprains in my younger days. With proper ankle supports and regular low-impact exercises, I still walk 3 kilometers every day, so do not lose heart.

Yes, ankle arthritis is possible, especially if there was an old injury. My uncle used warm oil therapy at home, but we finally consulted an orthopedist who helped him with proper footwear and physical therapy.

Yes yaar, actually it can happen. My friend got it after a bad football injury that didn't heal properly. You should get an X-ray done to see what is happening inside.

Yes, ankle arthritis happens, often due to high-impact stress. Focus on strengthening your calves and shin muscles, and switch to low-impact cardio like swimming or cycling if running hurts too much.
