Can you get arthritis in your 20s?

I'm in my mid-twenties, and sometimes I experience stiffness and pain in my joints, especially my knees and wrists after a long day. My grandmother has severe arthritis, so I'm worried this might be happening to me too. Is it possible to develop arthritis when you're still in your 20s?

Yes beta, auto-immune types like rheumatoid arthritis can start in your 20s. Along with your doctor's medicine, practicing gentle Sukshma Vyayama and Pranayama daily helped me keep my joint pain under control.

Haan bilkul ho sakta hai, today's lifestyle is such. Don't sit on it thinking you are too young for joint pain. Go to a good rheumatologist and get a proper blood test done.

Yes, autoimmune arthritis can affect young adults. Just like managing blood pressure, it requires regular health checkups and a highly disciplined lifestyle to keep inflammation under control.

Yes, my doctor explained that Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis commonly strike between 20 to 40 years of age because they are autoimmune conditions, not age-related wear and tear.

I used to get so terrified thinking arthritis only happens to old people and my life was over when my knees hurt. It is scary to think about, but getting a simple rheumatoid factor test will clear your doubts.

Yes, it can happen. If you are diagnosed, be very mindful of your diet. Avoiding refined sugars and processed food is crucial because they cause high inflammation in the body and joints.

Yes, young people do get it. It is always safer to get your joint pain investigated early through blood tests and X-rays rather than waiting and risking permanent joint damage.

Yes, it is possible even at a young age. Warm sesame oil massage and adding ginger to your diet helps reduce joint swelling naturally, but please consult a doctor for a proper medical plan.

Please don't start drinking random herbal juices or trusting internet remedies for joint pain. If you suspect arthritis in your 20s, go to a qualified rheumatologist. Only a medical professional can confirm this.

With the amount of time I spend hunching over my laptop, my joints feel 80 anyway! But yes, jokes aside, autoimmune arthritis can start in your 20s. Don't ignore persistent joint stiffness.

Yes, it is possible. I use a health app to track my daily step count and joint mobility. If you feel morning stiffness lasting more than 30 minutes, log it and discuss it with an ortho.

Yes, children and young adults can get it too, though we call it by different names. Drinking warm turmeric milk at night can help soothe the pain, but do keep your doctor in the loop.
