Can you get abdominal pain from stress?

I've been under a lot of stress lately due to work deadlines and family issues. For the past few weeks, I've also been having frequent abdominal pain and discomfort. Could this stomach pain actually be a direct result of all the stress I'm experiencing?

Yes, stress can really affect your stomach and cause painful cramps. Try to sit quietly, drink some warm water, and rest for a bit. It usually gets better once you calm down.

I used to suffer from terrible stomach cramps before major work presentations, and it took me a long time to realize it was purely anxiety. The gut-brain connection is very real, and the pain is not just in your head. Learning to manage my stress was the only thing that helped.

Yes, absolutely! Stress can trigger acid reflux and stomach cramps very easily. Whenever I am stressed, I try to listen to some music or drink herbal tea to soothe my tummy. Try to take deep breaths, it really helps!
