Can you get a heat rash from a fever?

My son had a high fever for a few days, and now he has developed some small red bumps on his skin. I'm wondering if this rash could be a direct result of the fever he had. Is that actually possible?

Honestly, yes. When I had a bad fever last year, my body got super warm and I broke out in tiny red sweat bumps once the sweating started. I wanted to go for my usual light evening walks to feel better, but my doc said strictly no till the fever and rash cleared up. Rest is the best workout here.

Mere saath bhi hua hai, it is so annoying! When the fever breaks, your body sweats like crazy to cool down, and that blocks the pores leading to rash. Just wear super loose cotton clothes and don't apply heavy creams right now, let the skin breathe.

My son had this last month during a viral attack. The fever went up and suddenly his back was covered in heat rash. I just dabbed a bit of calamine lotion and kept him in loose mulmul clothes. It cleared up in two days as the temperature became normal.

Yes, high heat inside the body causes this. Humare ghar pe what works is taking a sponge bath with lukewarm water, no cold water. Keep the room well-ventilated and run the fan, or AC if it's too hot, to keep the sweat away.
