Can you get a fever from flu shot?
I got my flu shot yesterday, and today I'm feeling a bit under the weather, with body aches and a slight fever. Is this a normal side effect of the flu shot, or should I be concerned?

Yeah bro, totally normal. I got my annual flu shot last Friday and had a mild fever and body ache by night. Just took a basic paracetamol that my doctor suggested and slept it off. Was back to normal in 24 hours.
I just went through this three days ago! I had a 99.5 fever and some shivering the evening after my shot. It is just your immune system learning to fight the virus, so nothing to worry about. Just keep a damp cloth on your forehead if it feels warm.
I panicked so much when I got a fever after my flu shot last year, thinking something went wrong. But apparently, it's actually a very common side effect. Still, if it goes above 101 or lasts more than two days, please message your doc just to be safe and ease your mind.
Oh, I didn't know this could happen. I am planning to get my first flu shot next week because my college suggested it, and I am a bit scared now. Does the arm also pain very badly along with the fever?
Yes, running a mild fever for a day or two after a flu vaccine is very common and completely normal.
