Can you get a fever from being constipated?

For the last few days, I've been really constipated, aur abhi thoda bukhar jaisa bhi lag raha hai. My stomach feels very uncomfortable. Could this constipation be causing the fever?

Normally, eating too much heavy junk food just blocks your stomach, but a real fever is not a typical symptom of simple constipation. If you have both, your gut might be dealing with a proper infection. Better stick to simple khichdi and see a doctor.

No, beta, simple stomach tightness does not cause a fever. If your body is hot and your stomach is not clearing, there could be some infection inside. Drink warm water, eat papaya, but please visit the local doctor if the fever continues.

Usually no, but if there is a fever, it might indicate an underlying infection or inflammation in your digestive tract. Please consult a doctor.

In our days, we treated stomach issues with triphala and warm milk. But if a fever is coming with severe constipation, it could mean some inflammation in the intestines. Don't rely only on home remedies for fever, let a doctor check.

Constipation alone doesn't cause fever. If you have a fever, it means there is an infection that needs a doctor's attention.
