Can you fully recover from a stroke?

My father recently suffered a stroke, and we are all very worried about his recovery. We hear different things. Is it actually possible for someone to fully recover from a stroke, or are there always lingering effects?

Yes, many people recover significantly with timely treatment and dedicated rehabilitation.

I was reading about this recently because my uncle had one. It seems recovery depends a lot on how fast they got medical help and their daily physiotherapy.

Physical recovery is highly possible. Once the neurologist gives the clearance, starting light walks and gradually increasing movement helps rebuild motor paths immensely.

A clean, low-salt, plant-based diet helps support blood pressure control during recovery. But medical therapy is the core focus here.

My father had a stroke five years ago. With consistent speech therapy and daily exercises, he regained almost 90% of his normal function.
