Can you freeze liver?

I usually buy fresh liver from the market, but sometimes I don't get to cook it immediately. I was wondering, can you freeze liver to extend its shelf life, or is it best consumed fresh?

Yes, you can freeze liver. My fridge is full of frozen things because half the time I forget I bought them. Just cook it before you forget it's there for a year!

Bro, chill out and freeze it! It is totally safe. Just portion it out first so you don't have to defrost the whole thing at once. Don't stress too much about it.

My family eats non-veg and they freeze raw liver regularly. Just make sure to freeze it immediately after buying and pack it very tightly so it doesn't leak or spoil other food.

Yes, you can freeze raw or cooked liver safely. Just ensure you store it in a heavy airtight bag to avoid freezer burn. Keep it in the back of the freezer where it's coldest.

It is safe to freeze, but please make sure your freezer temperature is consistently below zero. Any fluctuation can lead to bacterial growth, so safety first.

Yes, you can freeze it. I use liver as an iron source for my thyroid-related fatigue. Make sure you keep getting your thyroid levels checked regularly while managing your diet.

Yes, you can freeze liver. It is a good source of B vitamins which helps some of us with PCOS, though I always make sure to discuss my exact diet plan with my doctor.

My grandmother always insisted on fresh meat, but my doctor confirmed that freezing liver safely for up to three months is perfectly fine and hygienic.
