Can you fight cancer without a spleen?

My cousin had his spleen removed a few years ago due to an accident, and now he's been diagnosed with cancer. He's very worried about fighting it without a spleen. Is it significantly harder to fight cancer if you don't have a spleen?

It is an incredibly tough emotional battle to face cancer treatments when your body is already missing an important organ like the spleen. Please know that your strength is immense, and many patients successfully complete chemotherapy with extra medical care.

I get so anxious just thinking about how our immune system copes without a spleen during cancer treatments. While it is definitely possible because other organs take over, you have to be extremely careful about catching infections and keep your doctors informed of every symptom.

Haan bilkul, log fight toh karte hain aur theek bhi hote hain. Spleen ke bina immunity thodi weak ho jati hai na, toh doctors extra injections aur care dete hain. Himmat mat haro bas.

Yes, you can absolutely fight it. With modern medicine and close guidance from your oncologists, the body can adapt well even without a spleen, so keep your spirits high.

Fighting cancer without a spleen requires very strict medical supervision because your risk of bacterial infections is much higher. You must discuss your vaccination status and antibiotic plans with your oncologist before starting any cancer therapy.
