Can you feel liver pain in your back?

Been experiencing a strange pain in my upper right back, just below my shoulder blade, and it doesn't seem like typical muscle pain. My friend suggested it could be related to my liver, which surprised me. Is it possible to feel liver pain in your back, or does it always show up in the front?

When my fatty liver was quite inflamed, I experienced a dull, persistent ache that felt like it was deep in my upper right back, just behind the ribcage. It was very confusing because I thought I had just pulled a muscle during yard work. Once my doctor treated the liver issue, that back discomfort also disappeared.

Yes, I agree that liver issues can cause referred pain in the right shoulder blade or upper back. If the back pain is accompanied by nausea or dark urine, please consult a doctor immediately.

My daughter complained of a strange ache in her upper back and right side when she had a severe liver infection. I initially thought it was due to her heavy school bag, but a doctor's checkup revealed it was referred liver pain. Please don't hesitate to take your loved ones for a proper medical examination.

As someone managing type 2 diabetes, I have to be very careful with liver health since fatty liver is very common for us. I sometimes get a dull pressure in my mid-back area on the right side when my digestion is off. Keeping blood sugars in check and eating low-carb meals helps, but always consult your physician for back pain.

I have dealt with liver congestion issues before, and the pain absolutely radiates to the right upper back and shoulder. My tip is to avoid self-medicating with heavy painkillers, as they can put more load on your liver. Go get an ultrasound and a liver panel done to address the root cause directly.

Yes, referred liver pain in the back is a real thing and it usually concentrates around the right shoulder blade. Stop trying to cure it with back rubs or heat packs if it feels deep and constant. Book a consultation with a gastroenterologist and get a proper diagnosis.

Beta, sometimes the liver gets swollen and the pain travels to our back, making us feel very restless. If you are feeling a heavy weight in your back along with stomach bloating, please go to a good doctor in town. Rest well and don't do any heavy lifting right now.

Yes, liver pain can project to the upper right back area, which is known as referred pain. I use my health app to track my posture and pain triggers, and it helped me realize my deep back ache wasn't skeletal. Definitely get a doctor to run a quick liver function test and ultrasound for clarity.

I totally get it, having a dull ache in your back that you can't stretch out is so frustrating and exhausting. It is so confusing when the pain is actually coming from an internal organ like the liver. Please take some rest and get a professional opinion so you can find some relief.

Haan na, back ache and liver pain ka connection is really weird, but it actually happens on the upper right side. If you have this dull ache along with constant fatigue, then please don't ignore it. Dr. se discuss karke ek baar abdominal scan karva lo, tension free ho jaoge.

I remember crying from frustration when I had a deep back ache that no massager could fix, only to find out my liver was highly inflamed. It was a very scary and lonely time because people kept telling me it was just poor posture. Your pain is valid, so please advocate for yourself and get a proper medical scan done.
