Can you feel liver pain?

Been having this persistent dull ache in my upper right abdomen, and starting to worry it might be my liver. My father had liver issues, so I'm extra cautious. Can one truly feel pain specifically from the liver, and where exactly would it be located?

I always get so anxious whenever I feel any dull sensation on my right side, immediately googling liver failure symptoms and getting terrified. Usually, liver pain feels like a dull, steady ache just under your right ribcage, rather than a sharp pain. If you are stressing out like me, please just visit a doctor to get an ultrasound done so you can finally sleep in peace.

Yes, you can feel liver pain as a dull fullness or ache in the upper right quadrant of your abdomen. I log my daily symptoms and water intake on my health tracker, and I noticed that dehydration can sometimes make digestion worse, mimicking this discomfort. A quick doctor visit and a liver function test are highly recommended to track your actual liver health.

Liver discomfort is typically felt as a dull, non-specific ache or heaviness in the upper right abdominal area, sometimes radiating to the right shoulder. Because the liver itself doesn't have pain receptors, the pain actually comes from the stretching of its surrounding membrane. Consulting a physician for a proper physical exam and scan is the most balanced approach.

Our bodies are beautiful systems that tell us when they need rest and care. If you are feeling a dull, heavy sensation in your upper right side, it might be your body asking you to slow down and detoxify. Stay positive, drink plenty of fresh water, and gently seek a doctor's guidance to nurture your health.

Honestly, I had this dull, annoying pain under my right ribs after weeks of partying and eating heavy food. It wasn't sharp, just a constant heavy feeling that got worse after greasy meals. I went to a clinic, got an LFT done, and the doctor told me it was early fatty liver. Cut down the junk and go get it checked, bro.

My son had a swelling in his liver last year due to a severe viral infection, and he complained of a constant, uncomfortable pressure on his right side. As a mother, I was so worried, but timely medical care and a simple bland diet cured him completely. Please get a proper doctor's opinion for peace of mind.

With our hectic work hours and poor eating habits, liver issues are becoming very common. Liver pain usually manifests as a persistent, dull ache on the right side under the ribs, often accompanied by fatigue. Don't waste time trying various home detoxes; just take an hour out of your schedule to get an ultrasound and see a gastroenterologist.
