Can you eat almonds if you have kidney stones?

My doctor advised me to be careful with my diet because I have kidney stones. I really enjoy having almonds as a snack, but I'm unsure if they are safe for my condition.

I totally get it, trying to figure out what to eat when you have kidney stones is so stressful because everything seems risky. Almonds are actually quite high in oxalates, which can contribute to stones. It is usually better to limit them and talk to your doctor.

At this point in my life, even breathing feels like it might cause a kidney stone! Jokes aside, almonds have high oxalate content, so my doctor told me to stay away from them. Best to drink lots of water instead of munching on nuts.

I am new to this and still trying to learn what is safe for kidney health. I read somewhere that almonds have oxalates, but does that mean we have to avoid them completely? Please let me know if anyone's doctor allowed them in small amounts.

If you have calcium oxalate stones, almonds are a bad idea because of their high oxalate levels. Skip them and focus on staying hydrated instead. Get a proper diet chart from your urologist rather than guessing.

I panicked so much when my doctor told me to cut out almonds, as they were my favorite daily snack. But honestly, once I adjusted my diet and replaced them with safer options, everything went back to normal. Just follow the doc's advice, it's not as hard as it seems.

Haan, bilkul dhyan rakhna padta hai kidney stones mein. Badam mein oxalate thoda zyada hota hai, toh doctor mana hi karte hain, na? Isse achha hai aap doctor se pooch kar hi khao, faltu mein dard kyun badhana.

My dear, if your stones are the calcium oxalate type, then almonds are best avoided because they are very rich in oxalates. You can try having a few walnuts instead, but always drink plenty of water throughout the day to help flush things out. Do discuss this with your doctor.

I was researching this for my uncle who has calcium oxalate stones. Apparently, almonds are on the high-oxalate list, so most articles suggest replacing them with other nuts like walnuts. Always good to double-check with a proper nutritionist though.

I know how terrifying it is to eat anything when you are suffering from kidney stones, the fear of pain is real. Since almonds are high in oxalates, skipping them for now will give you peace of mind. Take a deep breath and let your doctor guide your diet.

Just like how I have to manage my thyroid with regular tests and diet control, kidney health also needs strict rules. Almonds can trigger stone formation if you are prone to oxalates. Please consult your physician and get your kidney function tested regularly.

Oh god, kidney stones sound so painful, I get anxious just thinking about it. Please be very careful with almonds since they are known to have high oxalates. I would suggest completely stopping them until you get a clear green light from your doctor.

Bro, my doctor straight up told me to stop eating almonds and spinach when I got diagnosed with calcium stones. They are loaded with oxalates which makes stones worse. Better stick to drinking plenty of water and lemon juice.

I ignored my diet restrictions once and ended up in the emergency room with severe kidney pain. Don't make that mistake; almonds are high in oxalates and can make stones worse. Please get a proper scan and follow your doctor's advice strictly.
