Can you die from vomiting?
I've had a stomach bug and have been vomiting non-stop for hours. I feel so weak and dizzy; can you actually die from constant vomiting?

Vomiting once or twice because of bad food is totally normal and won't kill you. But if you cannot keep even water down for more than a day, dehydration becomes a big risk. Keep sipping ORS slowly and if it doesn't stop, please see a doctor before you feel too weak.
Actually, the danger isn't the vomiting itself, it's losing too much water and body salts very quickly. If you are also feeling dizzy, having a high fever, or notice any blood, you should immediately go to an emergency clinic. Otherwise, just stick to coconut water and let your stomach rest.
Yaar, vomiting usually just means your stomach rejected some spicy street food. It won't kill you, but definitely ruins your appetite for a few days. Just stay off the oily parathhas, have light khichdi, and drink plenty of fluids so you don't end up in a hospital on a drip.
I used to get terrible nausea and vomiting during my worst PCOS flare-ups and it felt like the end of the world. But it's usually manageable if you take care. Just be careful not to ignore it if it goes on for days, as electrolyte imbalance can get quite serious.
Bas body thak jaati hai completely. Haan, agar continuously ulti ho rahi hai aur paani bhi digest nahi ho raha, toh bina time waste kiye doc ke paas chale jao, drip chadwani pad sakti hai.
I completely understand how terrifying it feels when you can't stop throwing up and your chest hurts. It makes you feel so weak and anxious like something is horribly wrong. Please don't panic, but do get someone to help you to a clinic if you feel too exhausted to stand.
Please be very careful with this because I once ignored severe vomiting and ended up severely dehydrated with kidney strain. If you also have severe stomach pain, high fever, or find yourself fainting, do not wait at home. Get to a hospital immediately.
