Can you die from tb disease?

My colleague was just diagnosed with TB disease, and it's quite shocking. I thought it was treatable, but can someone still die from TB disease in today's times?

I had lung TB five years ago and recovered completely. Yes, it can be fatal if you don't treat it, but if you start your DOTS course on time, you will survive. Eat high-protein foods like paneer, eggs, and sprouts to keep your strength up during the treatment.

Oh god, even reading about TB makes me so anxious because we always associate it with extreme coughing and weakness. But please don't panic, the success rate of the treatment is actually very high. Just stay positive, eat well, and please keep in touch with your doctor.

For a normal cough, you can try ginger honey tea, but for TB, you must take proper medical treatment from a doctor. Home remedies can only support your strength, but they cannot cure TB bacteria. Please do not delay starting your proper prescriptions.

Please try not to worry too much. TB is very treatable now and doctors know exactly how to handle it. Just take care of your health and follow your doctor's instructions.

I am awake at 3 AM reading about TB because of a minor cough, which is probably just dust allergy. But seriously, TB is only deadly if you act like a hero and ignore the symptoms. Just go to a doctor, get tested, and get it sorted so we can all sleep!

My maid's daughter had TB last year and she was very sick and weak initially. But after starting the government-provided medicine, she completely recovered within six months. I can't give medical advice, but I've seen that completing the medicine course is key.

I once ignored a persistent cough for over two months thinking it was just pollution, and it ended up damaging my lungs badly. Don't make the same mistake. If you have a cough for more than two weeks, please get tested for TB immediately.

Haan, log darr toh jate hain jab TB sunte hain, but ab yeh pehle jaisi jaanleva bimari nahi rahi na. Bas doctor ki batayi hui medicines bina skip kiye khani hoti hain. Apne aap thik ho jaoge, chinta mat karo bilkul.

If you have TB along with diabetes, you have to be extra careful because uncontrolled sugar can make the infection worse. You need to coordinate with both your general physician and your diabetologist to manage your diet and medication properly.
