Can you die from squamous cell skin cancer?

My uncle had a type of skin cancer called squamous cell carcinoma. It was caught early, but it made me wonder, can squamous cell skin cancer be fatal if it spreads?

If it is detected early, the survival rate is extremely high and the removal procedure is usually quick. The key is not postponing your doctor appointments because of a busy schedule. Just get the biopsy or surgery done as advised by the doctor and you'll be fine.

Look, any cancer can be dangerous if you ignore it for years and let it spread. But squamous cell skin cancer is highly treatable if you catch it early. Just go to a dermatologist, get it checked, and get the treatment done without wasting time.

Actually, skin cancers can sound super scary yaar. But squamous cell ones usually don't spread fast if they are treated on time. Just don't ignore any weird patch or mole on your skin. Go show a good doc and clear your doubts.

No need to start writing your will just yet! It's not like those dramatic movie cancers. A good dermatologist will probably just snip or freeze it off and send you home. Just wear your sunscreen and stop googling scary things!

I know how the word 'cancer' makes your heart sink, I went through the same fear with my family member. It is totally normal to feel terrified. But please take a deep breath; this specific type has excellent treatment outcomes when handled early.

When my uncle had a skin growth, we immediately went to a proper hospital instead of searching online. The doctor explained the treatment plan clearly and it was removed successfully. Please consult an oncologist or dermatologist directly for peace of mind.
