Can you die from no sleep?

Exam ke chakkar mein meri neend poori nahi ho rahi hai, bas 3-4 ghante hi so paati hoon. Meri friends ne bola ki itni kam neend se health kharab ho sakti hai. Kya bina neend ke jaan bhi ja sakti hai?

Haan na, completely sleep-deprived feel hoke lagta hai maut hi aa jayegi! But seriously, actually dying just from sleeplessness is extremely rare unless there's some genetic issue. Thoda warm milk try karo aur relax karo, sab theek hoga.

My mother always tells me that a cup of warm chamomile tea or a quiet foot massage with sesame oil helps one sleep beautifully. However, if your insomnia is very severe and has lasted for weeks, please trust a doctor's advice rather than struggling alone. Lack of sleep can affect your heart if ignored.

Honestly, with my office stress and late-night calls, I feel like a walking zombie half the time! You won't actually die from missing a couple of nights of sleep, though your brain will definitely function like a 10-year-old laptop. Try to log off early and just catch up on rest.

While acute, total sleep deprivation is rarely a direct cause of death in healthy individuals, chronic sleep issues significantly increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases and accidents. If you are experiencing persistent insomnia, a consultation with a sleep specialist or general physician is highly recommended.

Please be very careful with chronic sleep deprivation. I once ignored severe insomnia for months, which led to a dangerous rise in my blood pressure and an emergency hospital visit. It is better to consult a doctor early before it affects your physical health severely.
