Fatty liver in its early stages (Grade 1) is usually reversible with diet and exercise. However, if ignored, it can progress to cirrhosis or liver failure over many years, which can be fatal. Consulting a doctor and getting regular LFT scans is the most sensible path.

My teenage son was diagnosed with early fatty liver last year because of too much junk food. We cut out processed sugar and started daily walks, and his recent reports are much better. Don't worry, with timely changes, it is easily manageable.

Arey, no need to panic immediately. Just reduce fried oily foods, stop drinking alcohol completely if you do, and walk for 45 minutes daily. These simple lifestyle changes work wonders for fatty liver without spending heavily on treatments.

Don't sit on it for too long. If you are busy with work, at least schedule an annual health checkup with an ultrasound. Early-stage fatty liver won't kill you, but letting it silently worsen over 10 years because of a hectic lifestyle is a big risk.

My doctor mentioned I have mild fatty liver during a routine checkup, and I am quite scared. Does this mean I have to stop eating rice completely, or can it be managed with normal home-cooked food and some light yoga?

I have both high BP and fatty liver, and my physician always emphasizes that a healthy lifestyle is the only long-term cure. Regular lipid profile tests and blood pressure monitoring are essential to prevent any severe cardiovascular or liver complications.

I got diagnosed with Grade 1 fatty liver last year and honestly, I was terrified too. But my doc reassured me that it is super common now and totally reversible. I just cut down on bakery items and started swimming, and I feel so much more energetic now!

As a diabetic, I have to be very careful because fatty liver and high blood sugar usually go hand-in-hand. Managing your carb intake and avoiding sugary drinks is absolutely crucial to keep both under control. Definitely get your HbA1c checked as well.

Please don't fall for online videos claiming to cure fatty liver in 7 days with some detox juice. It can be dangerous. Only a qualified gastroenterologist can guide you based on your actual liver enzyme reports and ultrasound grade.
